Karlee Squires is a Canadian born triple threat. She began training as a competitive dancer and singer at the age of three and since then her passion has been performing. Karlee began pursuing acting and film making at AMDA College and Conservatory for the Performing Arts (NY & LA), obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. Karlee lives in Los Angeles, professionally performing, teaching and training, studying from some of the top teachers in the industry. Performing has taken her around the world, currently travelling and performing as Lead Vocalist on board Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Empress of the Seas, in shows "Bailamos" & "Three".
Karlee also works as a marketing and film production consultant. From picking up a script to performing on the stage and screen or getting to run around set and be apart of the amazing creation process, Karlee loves working in the ever evolving entertainment industry pursues both as a career.
As an actor, Karlee is extremely motivated and loves performing. This motivation and tenacity led Karlee to book her first professional theatre job three days out of college. Since then, she has been consistently performing, learning, creating, and growing as a performer. She attends singing, acting, and dance classes from some of the top teachers in Los Angeles. Karlee recently worked with the groundbreaking and inventive new Los Angeles Theatre Company, Sound Stage LIVE, in their production of The Little Mermaid, directed and choreographed by Karl Warden. She took the stage as mersister Atina and in the female ensemble, most memorable as a tap dancing seagull.
Karlee stared on screen in NBC/Universal, E!'s final episode of
Face Forward (Season 1), which aired on Snapchat December 2017.
February through August 2019, Karlee will be boarding Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Empress of the Seas, and will be performing as Lead Vocalist in shows "Bailamos" and "Three".
Behind the camera, Karlee holds positions ranging from associate producer, assistant director, to production coordinator. She spent for four years as a Marketing/Production Assistant for AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Karlee specializes in planning and research and in the past has taken on multiple roles behind the scenes, such as make up artist, gaffer, grip, stunt supervisor, and script supervisor.
Most recently, she completed working with Radius Productions as production coordinator, on the independent feature film, The Roman, to be released in 2019.
